Light of Life Ministry

Light of Life is a bible correspondence course that was created by World Gospel Crusade Missionaries. It has been offered free of charge by the Warkentien family since 1973. More than 17,000 students study one of the 12 courses offered; it takes about 3 years to study all 45 lesson books. We have students all over Brazil, many of whom are in prisons, overcrowded and idle, and often we are their only contact to the outside world. Along with feedback on their lesson books we respond to their personal letters and see how they have grown in their faith. We have students in 136 Penal Institutions around Brazil.

Recently Light of Life partnered with the military police who has provided free music lessons and loaned instruments to the neighborhood children. These children and adolescents in turn bring their families to Pinheirópolis church to watch their performances and thus hear the Gospel message.

Discipleship Classes
In addition to the Light of Life courses, we offer courses from Source of Light Ministries and Mail Box Club. These courses help children and adult students to learn about Biblical doctrines, and Salvation in a way that fosters spiritual growth and maturity.  

Rita teaches classes for new believers to ensure they have a good, solid foundation in their new faith. She also holds Bible studies for ladies and young ladies.

We also host “The Greatest Journey” training after the distribution of shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
