Because of your faithful prayers and support we are able to do the work God has set before us in Brazil. Our desire is for you to know the latest of what God is doing through our missionary efforts in order to continue praying intentionally with us and partnering with us in whatever ways God leads you. 

What to expect of our Blog and website?

Cade & Marina Amend are about to embark on the mission field for the first time. Marina as you are familiar with is a missionary's kid twice over. She grew up in the mission field and now God willing after 16 years will be returning as a missionary herself. Cade was born and raised in Kansas and is about to embark on this adventure of living in a new country, away from everything he knows and learn a whole new language all for the sake of helping to spread the Gospel and glorify God. Their blog posts will share with you about their experience of becoming a missionary and living in a new country.

Phil & Rita Warkentien have been missionaries for over 35 years and have a very dynamic multipronged ministry that has reached Brazil and around the world. Their daughter Marina and her husband Cade are joining them to bolster the innumerous daily tasks as God provides more and more opportunities. Phil & Rita have a traditional missionary newsletter and are always forced to condense the amazing stories and work God is doing into small highlights. Their blog posts will share with you about some of these stories more wholly and you will see how God many times uses inconveniences to bring forth the salvation of souls.
